Partner Visa

The Partner Visa is a visa for people who want to live permanently in Australia with their spouse or de facto partner. There are 5 different visa subclasses under the Partner Visa:

  1. Subclass 820 (Partner (Temporary) Visa): This visa allows you to live in Australia temporarily with your partner while your permanent visa application is being processed.
  2. Subclass 801 (Partner (Permanent) Visa): This visa allows you to live permanently in Australia with your partner.

  • You must be in a genuine and ongoing relationship with your partner.
